The Angelina and Neches River Railroad Company currently ownes three diesel locomotives- 12, 1500, and 2000. Engine 12 is used primarily as a switch engine while 1500 and 2000 do almost all of the company's work. All of the repairs are done in the shop located at the company's office in Lufkin, Texas.

The A&NR has owned three other diesels in its 100-year history. The first of these, Number 300, was a Brill motor model. Engine 300 was nothing more than a motorized passenger car which was used by the A&NR during World War II. Engine 10 was a 600 horsepower EMD, and Engine 11 was a 1,000 horsepower Alco engine.
